Who is Tom Chuna?

Thomas Patrick Chuna has spent more than 30 years solving the problem that sits at the center of every business challenge – people.

Not people as a concept. People as the actual reason things work, or do not. The right hire who transforms a team. The leader who finally stops reacting and starts building. The culture that keeps good people instead of grinding them out.

Tom brings that work to organizations as a fractional HR leader, Strategic Hiring Advisor, and organizational development facilitator. He currently serves as Chief People Officer of a multi-location $10 million holding company – not as a credential, but as a daily proving ground. The methodology he brings to clients is the same one he runs in the field every day.

His work spans the full arc of the people equation – finding the right people, assessing fit before the hire, aligning teams around shared values, and developing leaders who can sustain performance without burning out the people around them. From the shop floor to the executive suite, across industries from skilled trades to biotech, the through line is the same: when people are clear on who they are and what matters, organizations move.
